Magnetic fields directly act on spins, orbitals and phases of electrons, and hence, have been extensively used to explore fundamental properties of materials. Our world highest-class pulsed magnetic fields clearly bring out interesting features of various materials in the spotlight, e.g. high-Tc superconductors, quantum magnets, topological materials, and multiferroics.
With using various state-of-the-art experimental techniques, we are developing experimental studies to open a new field of condensed matter physics in collaboration with many scientists being successful at the forefront.
